Fees

WILLS

  • Simple Will- £150 plus VAT
  • Simple mirror Wills- £300 plus VAT
  • Simple Will with specific gifts- £250 plus VAT
  • Simple mirror Will with specific gifts- £450 plus VAT
  • Will with ringfencing- £350 plus VAT
  • Will with ringfencing & severance of joint tenancy – £500 plus VAT
  • Will with trusts – £600 plus VAT

LASTING POWERS OF ATTORNEY

  • One document (either Health and Welfare or financial and property affairs)- £350 plus VAT
  • Two documents (for one person i.e Health & Welfare and financial & property affairs) £600 plus VAT
  • Four documents (i.e 2 x health & welfare ; 2 x financial & property affairs)- £1000 plus VAT

Please note that all charges are plus a fee to the Office of the Public Guardian of £82 per LPA.

PACKAGES

  • Simple Will & LPA x 2 – £750 plus VAT
  • Simple Will with specific gifts & LPA x 2 – £850 plus VAT
  • Simple mirror wills & LPA x 4 – £1350 plus VAT
  • Mirror Wills with specific gifts & LPA x 4 – £1500 plus VAT
  • Mirror Wills with specific gifts & IHT advice & LPA x 4- £1800 plus VAT

Please note that all charges are plus a fee to the Office of the Public Guardian of £82 per LPA.

PROBATE

  • Grant only (no IHT)- £650 plus VAT
  • Grant only (IHT payable)- £1100 plus VAT
  • Full administration (no IHT)- £2500 plus VAT
  • Full administration (IHT payable) – from £4000 plus VAT

Please note that all charges are plus a fee to the Probate Registry which is currently £155.

FAMILY

  • General advice (including one face to face appointment and a detailed letter of advice): £300 plus VAT
  • Divorce (Petitioner)- £500 plus VAT plus Court fees (currently £550)
  • Divorce (Respondent) – £350 plus VAT
  • Children Act (Applying for a section 8 order, completing C100 and lodging at Court)- £400 plus VAT plus Court fee (currently £215)
  • Children Act (Respondent including initial advice and completing Acknowledgment of service)- £350 plus VAT
  • Children Act or financial matters (initial advice and a referral to mediation)- £500 plus VAT
  • Consent Order (terms agreed)- £400 plus VAT plus Court fee (currently £50)
  • Change of name Deed £125 plus VAT
  • Statutory Declaration £125 plus VAT

CONVEYANCING

  • Prices start from £500 plus VAT, depending on the value of the property, plus payments to others (which include search fees and land registry fees). Please contact me for a no obligation quote.
