There are two types of Lasting Powers of Attorney, one for Health and Welfare and one for Financial and Property affairs. These are important legal documents which enable your loved ones to act on your behalf/ be your voice, when you are not able to do so.
In some Countries these documents are mandatory from the age of 55. Whilst this is not the case in the United Kingdom, it is advisable to make the documents as soon as possible, as once you have lost capacity it is not possible to make a Lasting Power of Attorney. Your family and loved ones will need to make an application to the Court of Protection which is a much more costly and stressful process.

Four documents (i.e 2 x health & welfare ; 2 x financial & property affairs) – £1000 plus VAT
Please note that all charges are plus a fee to the Office of the Public Guardian of £82 per LPA.
